Accounts Payable Specialist (Property Management) - Urgent Position

CV Resources is partnering with a rapidly growing company in the property management industry to hire an Accounts Payable Specialist to their team.

Responsibilities:

• Process accounts payable transactions accurately and timely for property management operations.
• Maintain vendor relationships, including processing invoices, resolving discrepancies, and issuing payments.
• Reconcile vendor statements and ensure accuracy of accounts payable aging.
• Assist in month-end closing processes, including GL entries related to accounts payable.
• Perform bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records.
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve payment and invoice inquiries.
• Maintain organized and updated financial records and documentation.
• Assist in ad-hoc financial projects as assigned by management.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in accounts payable, preferably in property management or real estate.
• Strong understanding of General Ledger (GL) concepts and experience with GL entries.
• Proficiency in accounting software (preferably AppFolio or other Property Management Accounting software).
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial data processing.
• Strong organizational and time management skills to meet deadlines.
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with vendors and internal teams.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
