Currently seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accounts Receivable (AR) Specialist to join a finance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounts receivable processes, excellent communication skills, and a dedication to accuracy and efficiency. This role offers the chance to contribute to the success of our organization by managing customer accounts, resolving payment discrepancies, and optimizing our receivables processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and maintain customer accounts, including invoicing, payment posting, and account reconciliation.
Monitor accounts receivable aging and follow up on overdue payments to ensure timely collections.
Investigate and resolve payment discrepancies and billing issues in a timely manner.
Communicate effectively with customers to address inquiries, resolve disputes, and facilitate payment arrangements.
Collaborate with internal teams to streamline receivables processes and improve cash flow management.
Prepare and analyze AR aging reports to identify trends and potential risks.
Assist with month-end and year-end close processes related to accounts receivable.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with customers and colleagues.
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of accounting principles and AR best practices.
