Position: Accounts Receivable Clerk

Position reports to the Accounts Receivable Manager

Position Type: Full-Time

Pay Rate: $50,000 to $55,000 Yearly 

Location: Chicago, IL, 60614 - Hybrid

The Staff Accountant’s responsibilities will include but not be limited to posting cash receipts, collection calls, sending out pro forma invoices and monitoring sales order holds.

Responsibilities

• Post Cash Receipts daily.
• Collection calls and emails when needed.
• Post Invoices daily
• Send out Proforma Invoices
• Send out customer invoices daily and customer statements monthly.
• Manage Sales Order Holds for both holds at order input and shipping.

• Bachelor's degree, preferably in accounting
• MS-Office proficiency, specifically intermediate to advanced Excel skills
• Solid understanding of U.S. GAAP
• Minimum 2 years’ experience working in an accounts receivable clerk position
• Experience with accounting system Epicor and JPMorgan Chase Access is preferred
• Experience working in the lighting, retail or manufacturing industry is a plus
