Job Description:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable (AR) Clerk to join our team in Bronxville, NY. Key Responsibilities:
Invoice Processing:
Generate, review, and send invoices to clients in a timely manner, ensuring accuracy and compliance with contract terms.
Collections:
Follow up on outstanding invoices and ensure timely collection of payments. Communicate effectively with clients to resolve any billing issues.
AIA Billing:
Prepare and process AIA billing documents accurately and efficiently. (Experience with AIA billing is highly preferred and may lead to an expedited hiring process.)
Record Keeping:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, ensuring all transactions are properly documented.
Account Reconciliation:
Reconcile accounts receivable records and resolve discrepancies promptly.
Reporting:
Prepare regular reports on account status, aging of receivables, and other key metrics for management review.
Communication:
Collaborate with project managers and other team members to ensure smooth billing processes and resolve any project-related billing issues.
Support:
Provide general administrative support to the accounting department as needed.
Qualifications:
Experience:
Some experience with invoicing and accounts receivable processes preferred. Industry experience or adjacent experience (Architecture) is a plus.
Skills:
Highly analytical, excellent problem-solving abilities, and deadline-driven. Strong communication skills for interacting with project managers and clients.
Education:
No degree required.
Technology:
Proficiency with accounting software and MS Office (especially Excel) is a plus.
