Accounts Receivable Representative
Location: Baltimore, MD 21237 - Onsite
Pay Rate: $21.00/hr
Duration: 6 Months+
Hours: 8:00 am, 8:30 am, or 9:00 am - Start time

Position Overview:
The Accounts Receivable (AR) Representative is responsible for managing customer payments, resolving account discrepancies, and maintaining accurate account records. This role involves collaboration with various departments to collect outstanding balances and ensure accurate financial records.

Key Responsibilities:
Post customer payments accurately and timely
Research and reconcile account discrepancies
Scan payments into the bank
Keep detailed notes of all account communications in the Sapphire system
Work with retailers, sales teams, warehouse staff, drivers, customer service, and the National Call Center
Notify customers and sales teams of delivery term changes
Distribute monthly statements via email for specific accounts
Work independently and as part of a team
Maintain positive working relationships
Ensure high standards of customer service and accurate account reconciliation
Escalate issues to the AR Manager as necessary
Handle a high volume of customer and driver calls effectively
Problem-solve under pressure with tight deadlines
Required Skills:

Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong problem-solving abilities
