Accounts Receivable Manager - Collaborative Environment

Robert Half Management Resources is recruiting for a strong Accounts Receivable Manager to support our entertainment client on a 3+ month engagement based in Woodland Hills on a hybrid engagement (Onsite - Tue & Thu | Remote - MWF). The Accounts Receivable Manager will report directly to the Global Controller and will be primarily responsible for B2B collections process and managing a team member. This role will also have an opportunity to review existing collections policies and procedures and help to make enhancements & improvements. The right consultant for this role will have working experience in collections and must have exceptional communication and the ability to foster strong working relationships internally and with clients.

- Collections processes for the US (HQ and two subsidiaries)

- Help develop and execute policies and procedures

- Onboard new customers and maintain creditworthiness of existing customers

- Timely collections of per contract terms and improve the collections process

- Manage ERP (Great Plains) cash applications

- Help build internal control documentation (workflows and narratives)

- Supervise the one existing support staff

- 5+ years of collections leadership/management (degree preferred)

- Must have strong customer service experience and mindset, and understand 'key account' strategy and excellent interpersonal skills

- Understanding of GAAP related to revenue recognition, internal controls, segregation of duties, accounts receivable, and cash applications

- Excel - pivot tables and vlookups

- Experience working with Microsoft Great Plains (plus, not required)
