Aston Carter is working with a great client in the Aurora, OH area who is seeking an AR Specialist to join their team!
Description:
• Monthly aging review with department manager.
• Initiate collection calls to ensure payments are received in a timely fashion as dictated by the invoice terms.
• Perform the collection process for assigned portfolio of accounts in accordance to the company’s credit policy guidelines by making calls to delinquent accounts, placing accounts on Hold status and preparing demand letters.
• Correspond and follow-up with customers regarding account inquiries including; providing statements and supporting documentation.
• Update account notes when action taken in SalesForce including the credit line increase recommendations.
• Hourly review and release of orders on credit hold according to credit policy guidelines. Notify Sales Representative if order(s) will be on hold more than one day due to past due balance or balance over the set credit limit.
• Manage assigned portfolio, working closely with internal teams to coordinate course of action.
• Ability to carry out established policies and procedures within the department
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
• Solid experience in business to business credit and collections.
• Attention to detail and ability to plan organize and prioritize.
• Strong initiative, problem analysis and problem solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient experience with JDE and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
