LHH is seeking an Accounts Receivable/Collections Specialist specializing in Commercial Real Estate Collections for our client near Calabasas. If you are in the market for your next opportunity, apply today!
Responsibilities:
Monitor accounts to identify outstanding debts
Communicate professionally and effectively with tenants to ensure timely payment compliance and follow-up
Contact tenants to collect payments on past-due accounts and resolve discrepancies or establish payment plans
Prepare and dispatch necessary documentation such as demand letters and legal defaults to debtors
Manage the collection, processing, and updating of tenant certificates of insurance
Review the portfolio of accounts and send out monthly statements
Compile progress and collections reports for monthly internal meetings
Create reports and analyses of judicial cases projections and collaborate with our legal team to assign cases for legal processing when necessary
Maintain updated account statuses and document collection efforts, including comprehensive notes on amounts or delinquency
Provide timely responses to all tenant inquiries while maintaining a positive customer service experience
Requirements:
Minimum 3 years of experience in Collections or related roles
Proficiency in MRI or Yardi property management software (MRI preferred)
Ability to comprehend and interpret commercial retail leases
Solid organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills, with the capability to manage priorities and workflow effectively
Prior experience in retail commercial settings and reading leases is essential
Pay Details:
$65,000.00 to $71,000.00 per year
