Accounts Receivable Collections SpecialistLHH Recruitment Solutions is looking for an experienced B2B Collections professional for a growing client in the Hudson, OH area. As a Business-to-Business Collections Specialist, you will play a crucial role in managing and maintaining healthy accounts receivable balances for our business clients. You will be responsible for efficiently and effectively collecting outstanding debts from our business customers while maintaining positive relationships and providing excellent customer service. This position is Temp to hire and will pay between $20 and $25/hr.
Responsibilities:- Conduct outbound collection calls and emails to business clients with overdue accounts receivable balances.
- Negotiate payment arrangements and settlements with clients to resolve outstanding debts while preserving customer relationships.
- Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies or disputes in a timely manner.
- Monitor accounts receivable aging reports and prioritize collection activities based on the severity of delinquency.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders such as sales, customer service, and account managers to address client concerns and facilitate payment resolutions.
- Document all collection activities and maintain accurate records of communications and payment arrangements.
- Recommend accounts for further action such as escalation to third-party collections agencies or legal proceedings when necessary.
- Analyze client payment patterns and provide insights to management for improving collection processes and reducing delinquency rates.
- Stay informed about industry regulations and best practices in collections to ensure compliance and effectiveness in debt recovery efforts.
- Assist with other finance-related tasks or projects as needed.
Qualifications:- Associate degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field preferred.
- Proven experience in business-to-business collections, preferably in a similar industry or environment.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills with the ability to maintain professionalism and build rapport with clients.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
