Job Description - Ace Department Manager

Description

We are looking for a Ace Department Manager to oversee all staff, budgets and operations of the local business unit.

Ace Department Manager responsibilities include formulating overall strategy, managing people and establishing policies. To be successful in this role, you should be a thoughtful leader and a confident decision-maker, helping our people develop and be productive, while ensuring our profits are on the rise.

If you are hired, you will...

  • Welcome and greet customers when entering or leaving the store.
  • Answer customer questions, help locate items, and provide recommendations.
  • Oversee day-to-day operations. Design strategy and set goals for growth.
  • Establish and achieve business and profit objectives.
  • Monitor store activity and ensure it is properly provisioned and staffed.
  • Ensure employees work productively and develop professionally.
  • Resolving conflicts or complaints from customers and employees.
  • Oversee recruitment and training of new employees.
  • Evaluate and improve operations and financial performance.
  • Prepare regular reports for upper management.
  • Ensure staff members follow health and safety regulations.
  • Ensure staff members follow company policies and procedures.
  • Direct the shipping, receiving and inventory flow for the store.
  • Perform other duties to ensure the overall success of our company.
