Acquisition Logistician Specialist III (C) - PEO LS

Job Overview:

The Acquisition Logistician Specialist III assist with planning, coordinating, and executing comprehensive life-cycle support for projects assigned in support of PEO Land Systems Acquisition Logistics Technical Publications Support Area.  

Support Hours: Applicant shall be available during core work hours as established the Government customer.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Assists with obtaining publication control numbers and short titles via TDM-Publications for all technical publications. 
• Reviews technical publications (e.g. Interactive Electronic Technical Manuals, Electronic Technical Manuals, Commercial Manuals, SL-3s and 4s, I-type Manuals, Fielding Plans, and Disposal Plans, etc.) in accordance with appropriate MIL-STDs, MIL-DTLs, MIL- HDBKs, USMC/MARCORSYSCOM/PEO-LS templates, USMC Handbooks, and USMC Orders, Directives and Memos; and provide comments and recommendations that will enhance final products. 
• Reviews and Provides comments and recommendations on program Technical Manuals in preparation for PM approval. 
• Ensures that all technical publications are in the correct format, the content is accurate and meets the publication requirements templates for technical publications. 
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Security Requirement:

• DoD SECRET Level Clearance Required

Travel Requirement:

• Under 10%

Preferred Requirements/Education:

• Bachelor’s Degree.
• Minimum 10 years related experience.
