Infinity Technology is seeking a motivated, detailed oriented, and customer-focused individual who would be responsible for Acquisition/Logistics Specialist activities in support of our Department of Labor DOL, Office of the Senior Procurement Executive (OSPE) contract. The ideal candidate will have federal work experience, be an expert in the field, work independently with minimal supervision, and have prior experience in a similar role within government environments.
*This position is primarily located in the Washington DC area, but contractors may be required to provide support at any DOL occupied facility located nationwide.*
*This position is Contingent upon contract award with work expected to begin immediately.*
*We are seeking to fill multiple positions and skill levels, to include Acquisition/Logistics Specialist Levels I, II and III.*

-- DOL, Office of the Assistant Secretary for Administration and Management (OASAM) is responsible for the development of policies, standards, procedures, systems and materials related to the resource and administrative management of the department.
-- DOL, OASAM Office of the Senior Procurement Executive (OSPE) is a customer service organization that delivers consistent, high-quality, enterprise-wide procurement services to support DOL’s diverse missions and maximize the Department’s federal buying power.
-- To support the Agencies across the Department, OSPE requires the services to provide acquisition, logistical, administrative, management, and technical writing services to assist with the day-today activities.
Duties & Responsibilities
-- Provide support and assistance to Contract Specialists in essentially all areas of the Federal Acquisition Regulation.
-- Provide support in technical writing, acquisition planning and strategy, and market research.
-- Ensure compliance with program and administrative regulations.
-- Prepare simplified purchase orders and modifications.
-- Log and track contract quotes, requests for modifications, and reports.
-- Provide assistance with functions supporting the procurement business process.
Education Requirements
-- Minimum of 24 semester hours in business-related coursework from an accredited college or university.
Experience Requirements
-- Minimum one (1) year of relevant professional experience for Acquisition/Logistics Specialist I.
-- One year of experience may be substituted by 12 or more semester hours leading to, or actual possession of, a FAC-C Professional certification.
-- Minimum two (2) years of relevant professional experience for Acquisition/Logistics Specialist II.
-- Two years of experience may be substituted by education, training, or applicable certification (e.g., 24+ semester hours or FAC-C Professional).
-- Minimum three (3) years of relevant professional experience for Acquisition/Logistics Specialist III, at least two (2) of which are highly relevant to the procurement or logistics environment.
Key Qualifications
-- Working knowledge of federal procurement regulations and policies.
-- Strong computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office software.
-- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
-- Ability to quickly grasp procurement terms, methodologies, and processes.
-- Ability to provide advice and assistance to program offices, vendors, grantees, or other constituent individuals or organizations (Level III).
-- Ability to prepare BPA files and associated electronic documentation.
-- Works independently on less complex tasks (Level I, II).
-- Works independently on moderately complex tasks (Level III).
Desired Certifications & Training
-- FAC-C (Federal Acquisition Certification in Contracting) – Professional level or equivalent coursework in progress.
Security Requirements
-- Candidate must be capable of meeting the criteria for a background investigation and have the ability to obtain a government issued identification badge. All successful candidates will be required to receive and maintain a National Agency Check Inquiries (NACI) security clearance.
