Acrylic, Nail Technician

Job Summary

A nail technician's job involves providing various nail care services, including manicures, pedicures, artificial nail applications and nail art. You are responsible for cleaning, shaping, and polishing nails, while also ensuring a hygienic and comfortable environment for clients.

NO EXPERIENCE REQUIRED -> Fresh Graduates and Experienced Professionals both encouraged to apply. 

Responsibilities and Duties

• Providing nail services: This includes manicures, pedicures, artificial nail applications (e.g., acrylic, gel), and nail art. 
• Cleaning, shaping, and polishing nails: This involves removing old polish, cuticle care, filing, buffing,  and applying new polish. 
• Consulting with clients: Understanding their nail care needs, preferences, and desired services and double checking with your client every step of the way. 
• Maintaining a clean and organized workspace: Keeping up with hygiene and safety standards. 
• Providing customer service: Building rapport with clients, answering questions, and addressing concerns. 
• Promoting and selling nail products: Recommending products for nail care and maintenance if necessary..  
• Sterilizing tools: Ensuring proper sanitation for all tools and equipment. 
• Be on time, look professional.
• Maintain a team-orientated attitude to achieve common goals.
• Engage fully in training, team meetings, and special projects.

Qualifications and Skills

• Knowledge of various nail care techniques: Including different types of nail enhancements and nail art. 
• Customer service skills: Being able to communicate effectively and build relationships with clients. 
• Hygiene and sanitation knowledge: Understanding and adhering to safety protocols. 
• Time management: Efficiently completing services within set appointment times. 
• Sales skills: Recommending and selling nail products and services. 
• Strong work ethic, dependable, can-do attitude.
• Tremendous attention to detail.
• Must have a valid Wisconsin cosmetologist or manicurist license.
