Plan and coordinate the logistics, systems, and operational details that support Athens Church Students environments and events.

Responsibilities

Event & Retreat Project Management

• Create and maintain timelines for events and retreats including key meetings, deadlines, and preparation schedules


• Schedule and lead planning meetings for retreats and major student ministry events


• Schedule events and retreats within Planning Center


• Coordinate facility needs with CleanPro and other campus partners


• Oversee logistics for camps and retreats including The Mix, 6th Grade Camp (6GC), Vertical Reality (VR), and GlobalX


• Manage retreat logistics including registration, buses, room assignments, scholarships, parent communication, and site coordination


• Serve as the on-site logistics coordinator during retreats and major events, troubleshooting and problem solving as needed


• Lead Logistics LDPs through event and retreat responsibilities

Event Logistics & Operations 

• Coordinate logistics and operational elements for student ministry events


• Establish and manage check-in processes for events and retreats


• Support and coordinate Guest Services volunteers as needed during events

Host Team Leadership

• Recruit and onboard Host Team volunteers


• Conduct biannual training for Host Team volunteers


• Schedule volunteers for weekly student ministry environments


• Coordinate the Host Team during services and student gatherings

Systems & Data

• Oversee the accuracy and updates of the AC Students website and event pages


• Maintain the integrity of student ministry data and metrics within Rock


• Respond to general inquiries through the AC Students general email account


• Own and coordinate parent communication, including regular updates and key ministry information.

Cross-Team Collaboration

• Collaborate with facilities, SPD, CleanPro, and other departments regarding event space, scheduling and operational needs.

Additional Responsibilities

• Utilize individual gifts and talents to contribute to the ministry (hosting, speaking, etc.)


• Support the overall mission and culture of Athens Church Students

Work Schedule

40 hours/week (Sunday - Thursday)
