ABOUT CASCADE:
Cascade Community Healthcare (CCH) has been providing treatment services to Lewis County and surrounding areas for more than 50 years. Our mission is to provide our clients with compassionate and encouraging counseling leading to a renewed sense of hope and the ability to make positive changes and live more satisfying lives. Cascade currently has six treatment locations in Lewis County.
We are looking for a Program Assistant to join our Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) team. The Program Assistant for the ACT Team performs a variety of complex clerical and administrative duties with minimal supervision. Responsibilities may include coordinating communication between team and clients, assisting clients, families, and other agencies in getting answers to questions, maintaining client confidentiality, and providing clerical support to clinical and medical staff as assigned.
SHIFTS AVAILABLE:
Day Shift: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:00pm
PAY SCALE:
$18.30 - $22.30 Hourly, DOE
WHAT YOU NEED TO GET THE JOB DONE:
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Administrative experience in medical, mental health or social services field preferred.
Must be able to pass WA State Patrol background check. A national background check may be required if haven’t lived in WA State consecutively the last three years.
Must have valid driver’s license and must be able to legally operate a motor vehicle.
Excellent clerical and/or administrative skills.
Demonstrated organizational skills and the ability to multitask within a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.
General computer proficiency, including the ability to utilize electronic medical record systems and accurate typing and word processing skills.
Must be able to represent the agency in a positive and professional manner.
Must maintain current home telephone and address on file with the Human Resources office.
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Occasionally required to stand and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
Must be able to lift up to 25lbs at times.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
Provide excellent customer service to clients, staff, and guests.
Direct clients or guests to the appropriate person or department.
Answer calls, schedule client appointments, data entry, and filing.
Maintain ACT client log, coordinate and track client appointments and clinician schedules.
Coordinate and check out ACT vehicles to clinicians.
Record data for fidelity reviews.
Distribute incoming mail, prepare, and send outgoing mail.
Enter and extract client data as required from Electronic Health Record.
Coordinate CSU placements by utilizing the CSU admit workflow.
Coordinate Care with other medical and/or behavioral health agencies.
Fulfill medical records requests according to agency policies and procedures.
Verify client insurance/Medicaid eligibility.
Provider other administrative tasks to assist program and at the direction of the Program Manager.
Provides reports in accordance with agency policies and procedures.
Maintains strictest confidentiality; adheres to all HIPAA and 42 CFR Part 2 guidelines and regulations.
Participates in other selected activities at the direction of the Program Manager of ACT.

Working towards licensure? We have Team Managers that will provide those hours at no charge to you.
Cascade reimburses the cost of Department of Health licensure renewals and other certification renewals that are required for you to do your job (DEA, CPR/BLS, etc.).
