Activities Assistant - PT (E/O Weekend w/ Holiday Rotation)

Job Summary:   8:00am-4:30pm - Every Other Weekend with Holiday Rotation

Cornerstone Management is seeking a creative, energetic, and resident-focused Activities Assistant at our Whitefish at the Lakes Community to help plan and lead engaging programs that support the physical, social, intellectual, and spiritual well-being of our senior living community. This is a hands-on, people-centered role with the opportunity to make a meaningful impact every day.

Key Responsibilities - Work with Activity Director to:

• Develop, coordinate, and implement a variety of resident activities, events, trips, and celebrations


• Encourage resident participation and create opportunities for them to share their talents and interests


• Plan special programs around holidays and other meaningful occasions


• Communicate and collaborate with staff across departments to coordinate events


• Prepare a monthly activity calendar and community newsletter


• Drive residents to scheduled outings, appointments, and errands in the community van/bus


• Coordinate transportation needs and maintain activity schedules


• Maintain a positive, welcoming environment and foster strong resident relationships

Qualifications:

• High school diploma required; some college or relevant training preferred


• Previous experience planning and running activities, preferably in a senior living setting


• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills


• Comfort working with older adults and understanding their interests and needs


• Proficient in Microsoft Office or similar software


• MN Commercial Driver’s License with passenger endorsement required


• Friendly, compassionate, and enthusiastic approach to resident engagement
