TITLE: Activities Counselor

JOB TYPE: Part-time or full-time, seasonal

HOURS: 4-8 hour shifts between 8am and 8pm

PAY RATE: $15+ per hour

The Activities center is where guests of all ages come to explore all that The Nonantum and Maine have to offer. The Activities Counselor should be upbeat and ready to have fun with our guests!

ABOUT THE JOB:

• Lead group activities, such as arts & crafts, cookie decorating, and lawn games with guests of all ages


• Entertain and care for children attending drop-off activities


• Deliver exceptional customer service to create memorable vacation experiences
  


• Foster a friendly and inclusive environment; ensure all guests feel welcome to partake in any activity


• Manage equipment rentals, including ensuring all guests sign waivers and make proper payments


• Maintain and properly store Activities equipment


• Take initiative and work collaboratively

ABOUT YOU:

• CPR and First Aid Certified (may attain certification during first year of work)


• Proven ability to work as a team member


• Possess a positive attitude and confidence with engaging others in conversation


• Takes responsibility for guest satisfaction


• Confident asking for help when necessary


• Enjoys outdoor activities; physically able to assist guests with rental equipment and demonstrate its use


• Delights in working with children. Prior childcare and/or summer camp counseling experience preferred
  


• Ability to be reliable and punctual
