Job Description - Activity Aide

Manokin Nursing and Rehab
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Activity Assistant to join our team! If you’re compassionate, energetic, and enjoy making a difference in the lives of others, this is the role for you.

Responsibilities:

Lead and assist with group activities and special programs.
Provide meaningful one-on-one activities tailored to individual residents.
Offer input and support in planning creative, engaging activity schedules.
Escort and assist residents to and from activity programs.
Promote a positive, welcoming environment for residents, families, and visitors.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in activities or recreation is preferred but not required.
High school diploma or GED required.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Compassion, patience, and enthusiasm for working with older adults.
