A favorite song. A lively conversation. An outing that brings back memories. As Activities Director at The Gardens at Quail Springs, you'll turn residents' interests and life stories into opportunities for connection, creativity, and enjoyment.

We're looking for an organized, compassionate leader who enjoys working with older adults and brings energy, imagination, and follow-through to daily programming.

About Our Community and Location

The Gardens at Quail Springs offers assisted living and memory care in Oklahoma City. Our intimate community emphasizes personalized care, meaningful relationships, and activities that help residents stay connected to the people and interests they love.

You'll work in a community where getting to know each resident shapes your work, from planning group celebrations to finding the right activity for someone who prefers a quieter setting.

What You'll Do

• Plan and lead group and individual activities that support residents' cognitive, physical, and social wellbeing.


• Create engaging experiences through music, movement, art, conversation, entertainment, and community outings.


• Adapt programming to residents' interests, abilities, and needs, including those living with dementia.


• Develop monthly activity calendars and the community newsletter.


• Complete activity assessments for new residents and maintain quarterly documentation.


• Coordinate volunteers and the Resident Ambassador Program.


• Organize seasonal celebrations, annual events, and opportunities for family involvement.


• Safely drive a minibus to transport residents to activities and outings.


• Maintain a valid driver's license and a clean driving record that meets Company auto insurance requirements.


• Participate in resident care conferences and manage the monthly activities budget.


• Participate in the Manager-on-Duty rotation and help address community needs during assigned shifts.

What You Bring

• An associate degree and at least one year of experience as an Activities Director, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.


• At least six months of experience working with individuals with dementia.


• Strong planning, communication, and relationship-building skills.


• Confidence leading groups and connecting with residents one-on-one.


• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and on-call assignments as needed, including the Manager-on-Duty rotation.


• Ability to travel locally and occasionally out of town.
