Actuary

VigorCare Pediatric Services is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Actuary to join our team in Los Angeles, California. As an Actuary at VigorCare, you will play a crucial role in helping us make informed decisions and manage risk in the ever-changing landscape of pediatric healthcare.

Responsibilities:

- Analyze and evaluate data to determine the financial impact of potential risks and make recommendations for risk management strategies

- Develop and maintain actuarial models to forecast and monitor financial performance

- Collaborate with other departments to provide actuarial support for pricing, product development, and financial planning

- Conduct research and stay up-to-date on industry trends and regulations

- Communicate complex actuarial concepts and findings to non-technical stakeholders

- Continuously improve actuarial processes and procedures to increase efficiency and accuracy

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field

- ASA or FSA designation from the Society of Actuaries

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

- Proficient in actuarial software and programming languages such as Excel, SAS, and R

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
