Job Description - Acura Sales Manager



Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Manager to join our team at our Acura dealership in Stamford, Connecticut. Must be a closer!  As the Acura Sales Manager, you will oversee the sales team and manage the day-to-day operations in order to achieve sales targets and ensure customer satisfaction. This is a full-time, salary-based position in the fast-paced and rewarding automotive industry.

Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of sales professionals, setting goals and providing coaching and training to ensure success in meeting sales targets.
- Monitor and analyze sales figures and market trends to develop and implement effective strategies for increasing sales and maximizing profits.
- Foster a positive and professional working environment for the sales team, promoting motivation, teamwork, and excellent customer service.
- Develop and maintain relationships with customers, providing exceptional customer service and assisting with any issues or concerns that may arise.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as finance and service, to ensure a seamless customer experience and overall dealership success.
- Stay informed about new Acura models, features, and pricing to effectively communicate information to the sales team and customers.
- Oversee inventory management, ensuring an accurate and well-maintained vehicle stock.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in sales or business management.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in automotive sales, with at least 1 year in a management role.
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Strong leadership and motivational skills, with the ability to train, coach, and develop a team.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- In-depth knowledge of the Acura brand and models and the automotive industry as a whole.
- Proficient in using relevant software and technology for sales and inventory management.
