Cardiology Advanced Practice Provider (NP or PA)

A well-established, physician-led cardiology practice serving Volusia County is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to support its growing cardiovascular services across local hospitals and a community-based clinic.

This role is ideal for an APP who enjoys acute, hospital-based cardiology care with some continuity through outpatient follow-up.

About the Practice

The group provides comprehensive cardiovascular care and diagnostic services throughout Volusia County and is supported by a large, collaborative team of cardiologists, Advanced Practice Providers, and clinical staff. The practice has deep roots in the community and continues to expand its inpatient footprint.

Role Overview

• Provide general cardiology care primarily within affiliated hospitals

• Limited outpatient clinic involvement to support continuity of care

• Inpatient rounding, consults, and collaboration with cardiology physicians

• Full-time, Monday–Friday schedule

• Weekend coverage approximately once per month

Employment Details

Candidate Profile

• Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant (board certified)

• Cardiology experience preferred but not required

• Strong consideration given to new graduates with cardiovascular RN backgrounds

• Active, unrestricted NP or PA license (Florida or eligible)
