We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Physician Assistant (PA) to join our Acute Care team in Boca Raton, FL. Working collaboratively with supervising physicians and interdisciplinary staff, the PA will directly manage the care of complex, acutely ill patients through in-person visits, telehealth, and other communication technologies.

The ideal candidate is a clinical leader with strong diagnostic skills, a commitment to evidence-based care, and the ability to navigate high-acuity patient needs with professionalism and confidence.

Qualifications:

• Current Florida PA license in good standing
  

• NCCPA certification required
  

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in acute or critical care preferred
  

• Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
  

• Excellent communication, teamwork, and leadership abilities
  

• Proficient in the use of electronic medical records (EMRs) and telehealth platforms
  

Schedule:

• Full-time, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
  

• No weekend or on-call requirements
  

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including histories and physicals (H&Ps)
  

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with the healthcare team
  

• Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic and laboratory tests
  

• Establish medical diagnoses and prescribe appropriate therapeutic interventions
  

• Educate patients and families about medical conditions, treatment plans, and ongoing care
  

• Prescribe medications and perform approved clinical procedures as defined in the Delineation of Privileges
  

• Participate in the management and escalation of deteriorating patient conditions
  

• Lead and coordinate care among physicians, nursing staff, administrative personnel, and patients
  

• Integrate evidence-based practices and emerging technology into clinical care
  

• Engage in quality improvement initiatives and ensure adherence to healthcare standards
