Acute Rehab Registered Nurse

We are seeking a dedicated Acute Rehab RN to join our compassionate healthcare team in Ottumwa, IA. As a Registered Nurse in our Acute Rehabilitation Unit, you will play a vital role in helping patients recover and regain independence following illness, injury, or surgery. Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality, patient-centered nursing care in an acute rehabilitation setting.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans.
• Monitor patient progress, administer medications, and perform treatments as ordered.
• Educate patients and families on recovery goals, care plans, and health management.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and the healthcare team to deliver the best outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with all safety and infection control standards.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program.
• Current Iowa RN license or a valid compact state nursing license with eligibility to practice in Iowa.
• Current BCLS certification (Basic Cardiac Life Support).
• Strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, and communication skills.
• Previous experience in acute rehab, med-surg, or hospital nursing preferred (but not required).
