Location: Arlington, VA
Schedule: MondayFriday, 12:30 PM 8:30 PM (In-Person)
Occasional Saturday Virtual Group (every 68 weeks)

Pay: $28$44/hour
Sign-On Bonus: $3,000

Our Clinic is a leader in outpatient addiction and behavioral health treatment since 1973, is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Addiction Counselor or Therapist to join our innovative, interdisciplinary team in Arlington, VA.

What Youll Do

• Provide group and individual therapy for individuals with substance use and/or co-occurring mental health disorders
• Serve as therapist for Intensive Outpatient (IOP) and Outpatient (OP) levels of care
• Develop individualized treatment plans using evidence-based tools and assessments
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including medical providers and case managers
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in our electronic health record system
• Facilitate addiction education presentations and support discharge planning
• Coordinate care with family members, referral sources, and other providers
• Support clinical outcomes through engagement, retention, and patient progress

Schedule

• In-Person: MondayFriday, 12:30 PM 8:30 PM at our Arlington, VA center
• Virtual: Rotating Saturday group facilitation, 9:00 AM 12:00 PM (every 68 weeks)

What You Bring

• One of the following active Maryland licenses: CAC, CAC-AD, CSC, ADT, LGPC, LMSW, or LCPC
• Minimum of 2 years of supervised counseling experience
• Experience in substance use treatment and group therapy
• Proficiency with EMRs and documentation standards (CARF/state compliant)
• Strong communication, crisis management, and case coordination skills
