Adjunct Attending Dentist Clinical Instructor HV-ADJ-AttendDentist F25

Minimum Qualifications: 
Candidate must be a Dentist who graduated from an ADA accredited academic program; Current New York State License in Dentistry; current CPR for the Healthcare provider certification; current Dental Clinical Practice and Clinical Education and/or Dental Residency program experience; current membership in Dental Professional Association.  Current license and experience with delivery of NYS Local Anesthesia/Nitrous Oxide Analgesia Certification. Experience and understanding of the Commission on Dental Accreditation Standards and the accreditation process and active participant in community service, is preferred.

DUTIES AND/OR RESPONSIBILITIES:

•Participation and coordination of departmental academic remediation and retention initiatives.
•Didactic instruction which may include courses in Dental Anatomic Sciences, Dental Radiology and Oral     Histology and Embryology.
•Clinical instruction which may include preclinic, clinical and/or radiology courses. 
•Participation in faculty calibration activities and participate in department meetings.
•Support the Dental Hygiene accreditation process.

The Salary is $1,1457.00 per contact hour.
