Summary

Barry University, School of Podiatric Medicine, located in Miami Shores, FL, between Miami and Fort Lauderdale, invites applications from dynamic candidates for an adjunct faculty position to teach a three-credit Biochemistry I course in the fall 2026 semester (August 24 through December 11, 2026).

Essential Functions

• The primary responsibilities of adjunct faculty will be to teach this in person.

• Administer and grade assessments utilizing ExamSoft™ testing system, report grades in the Canvas Learning Management System.

• Proctor examinations in person, provide student advisement, and

• Adhere to BUSPM protocols in the administration of the course.

Qualifications/Requirements

A PhD degree is preferred, although other appropriately well-qualified candidates may be considered.

Previous experience teaching in this field in a professional medical school setting is preferred.
