Adjunct Instructor - Math & Sciences - UT Southern

The School of Mathematics & Sciences at the University of Tennessee Southern has openings for part-time, adjunct faculty to teach various Math and Sciences courses this Fall semester. The positions principal responsibility is teaching. Further, the position is responsible for demonstrating academic competence in the appropriate subject matter area. Areas of potential need: Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.

• Teach undergraduate courses in the School of Math & Sciences
• Must be willing to teach at times and locations that best suits the needs of students and the School of Math & Sciences. Times may include day, evening or online.

Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without need now or in the future for sponsorship for employment visa status.

Requirements:
Graduate courses: Doctoral Degree in the course discipline or closely related area.

• Undergraduate courses: Master’s degree in qualifying discipline, or Master’s degree 
  with 18 graduate semester hours in any combination of qualifying disciplines.
• Experience teaching at the university level preferred.

• Three letters of recommendation.
