ADMIN ASST/SCHED COORD | FT MON-FRI| Operating Room

Full-Time | Monday - Friday 8:30AM - 5:00PM (No Call Required) 

Assures smooth operation of the nursing unit by performing necessary clerical duties. Performs preliminary check of patient charts and assures that needed information is available. Answers telephone and communicates information as appropriate.  Schedules surgical procedures by entering data via computer. Has full access to patient health information.

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Medical Terminology required.
• Clerical experience preferred.
• Ability to pay close attention to detail.
• Proficient in the use of computer with working knowledge of business software.
• Must possess full range of body motion to pass basic FIT test for position to include walking, kneeling, standing, pushing, pulling, bending, stooping, reaching and sitting for extended periods of time. Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds.
