About this Role:

The role of the Associate Governmental Program Analystis to

independently workon a variety of activities including procurements and contracts, budgets, and Advance Planning Documents (APDs). The AGPA is responsible for developing various budget documents, preparing and managing department-wide contracts and procurements, and working with a variety of staff throughout the Department.
Training and Development (T&D) assignments may be considered for this position for current California civil service employees. T&D assignments cannot exceed 24 months. However, successful T&D candidates may transition to a permanent appointment, if eligible at the end of the T&D assignment.

Telework Information

The DHCS standard for hybrid work is a minimum of two days per week in-person and site-based and up to three teleworking days per week. The amount of telework is at the discretion of the Department’s operational business needs and subject to change consistent with DHCS’ Telework Program and Government Code sections 14200 – 14203. Telework is available to California residents, and proof of residency may be required.
