Job Description - Administrative & Finance Assistant - Operations Coordinator


    POSITION TITLE:  Operations & Logistics Coordinator


     


    32 hours weekly (4 days) fulltime position with benefits. Hours of operation are 8am to 5pm Monday through Friday based at FTHRA headquarters in Johnson City.  An occasional evening for community outreach and half day paid training on a Saturday.

    Reports To:  Grants & Compliance Manager


     


    Job Summary: This position includes operations, compliance, grant reporting, and general accounting functions of the Transportation Department as may be required by federal, state and local authorities.


     


    Responsibilities:
    The Operations & Logistics Coordinator is responsible for assisting the overall operations and administration of the Transportation Department including asset control, grant reporting, accounting and back-up call center duties including but not limited to:




    1. Analyze business or financial data, and measure effectiveness of business strategies or practices.

    2. Coordinate regulatory documentation activities which includes data entry. Develop training materials.

    3. Collect data about customer needs. Gather customer or ridership information to determine customer needs.

    4. Verification of operational data per funder requirements and reporting guidelines.

    5. Takes and completes calls of customers and/or drivers when serving in the role of dispatcher or customer service representative.

    6. Schedule or dispatch drivers or service vehicles to appropriate locations, according to customer requests, specifications, or needs, using radios or telephones.

    7. Performs audits comparing data between systems and/or reports to ensure compliance.

    8.  Abides by FTHRA Personnel Rules and Regulations as may be amended from time to time.

    Experience and Education:
    High school diploma / GED required; Associate or Bachelor degree preferred. Minimum 2 years' work experience of business theories and practices; Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel; Strong customer focus & proactive nature; Extreme attention to detail in all aspects of work product & self-directed; ex of computers and database systems.
