The Staff Pad is seeking an Administrative Assistant in Lynchburg, Virginia. You will be responsible for assisting the dispatcher/ops manager in effectively scheduling and dispatching the appropriate number of operations staff to complete the scheduled jobs. Assists in auditing paperwork for each job, prior to submitting to Accounting Department.
· Experience in logistics, relocation industry.
· Strong communication, interpersonal and organizational skills, as well as the ability to work independently and with little supervision is required.
· Must be reliable and detail oriented.
· Must successfully pass a criminal background investigation and pre-employment drug test.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES for Administrative Assistant:
· Upholds and enforces company standards and policies.
· Turn completed files over to accounting after auditing numbers and hours.
· Audit and Input daily hours and manage overtime hours
· Provide weight tickets for trucks, as needed.
· Administrative tasks such as keeping supplies for the office updated and ordered.
· Communication between HQ and other locations.
· Be a team player when needed.
· Other miscellaneous tasks as needed.
· Have detailed knowledge of the application process to assist applicants and maintain communication with HR during this process.
· Complete New Hire Onboarding.
