Language Translation - Bi-cultural Spanish: $1.00 per hour
Bimodal Bilingualism - ASL Sign Language: $1.00 per hour
Bimodal Multilingualism - ASL Sign Language: $2.00 per hour
Overview:
This role provides comprehensive administrative support to ensure the smooth daily operation of the office and assigned programs. Responsibilities include front desk coverage, phone and email management, visitor coordination, mail distribution, office opening and closing, and maintaining organized, clean, and well-stocked workspaces. The position also manages office supplies, schedules clinical services through centralized scheduling, supports safety procedures, and ensures coverage during breaks. Additional duties include monitoring Outlook communications, following agency policies, attending trainings, and assisting with miscellaneous projects as assigned.
Key Responsibilities:
Assists general office by answering phones, copying, making binders or other miscellaneous projects assigned.
Greets visitors, routes visitors to appropriate personnel.
Takes phone messages or transfers callers to voice mail boxes.
Ensure callers are notified if staff are in/out of the office.
Assists with closing office daily.
Posts and distributes mail daily.
Answer phones as back up for Administrative Personnel as needed.
Faxes, mail, and photocopies documents.
Follows all policies and procedures as issued by the agency.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Conditions of Employment:
Must possess a valid CA Driver’s License, current auto insurance, and a clean DMV printout (no more than 3 points).
Must pass a clear background check with DOJ, CACI, FBI, CCL.
CPR and First Aid Certified.
TB Exam and Physical at the time of employment.
Driving Requirement: This position requires the use of a personal vehicle for business purposes and on-call rotation.
Other Requirements:
Driving is a required function of this position. Employees must use a personal vehicle that meet all agency requirements, including maintaining liability insurance that meets or exceeds state requirements.
Employees are responsible for ensuring the timely renewal of their vehicle insurance policies and providing updated documentation to the agency to remain in good standing and compliant with position requirements.
Training Provided:
Comprehensive onboarding including CPR/First Aid, Crisis Communication/Pro-ACT, Trauma-Informed Care, Motivational Interviewing, and Collaborative Problem Solving.
