Job Summary   


The Administrative Assistant provides administrative support to the Treatment Directors of the Outpatient programs.    


Essential Job Responsibilities:   



  • To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily. The essential functions include the following:   

  • Greet clients as they are entering outpatient treatment program.    

  • Create a client/customer focused experience for all clients seeking treatment services.   

  • Provide administrative support to the Outpatient program, including handling email correspondence & communication in a timely manner.    

  • Assist with processing payroll & time off approvals for the outpatient team.    

  • Manage and screen all walk-in appointments.    

  • Oversee mouth swab process in coordination with clinical team & order UA supplies.    

  • Order and stock office supplies, as needed.   

  • Supervise Recovery Navigators.    

  • Provide ongoing analytics to leadership, including weekly statewide reports – billable hours, counselor analytics, billable units, internal scorecard, etc.    


Required Skills & Experience (Minimum Qualifications):   



  • High School Diploma or GED required.   

  • 2+ years previous customer service or administrative experience.    

  • Previous experience working with Microsoft Excel, with the ability to create and maintain reports.    

  • Must be comfortable working with people with life-controlling challenges, including mental health and addiction.   

  • The ability to live and work by MnTC’s culture of honor & core values – practicing compassion, honor, respect, integrity, servanthood, and trust.   

  • Must be 21 years of age or older.    

  • At least 1 year of freedom from problematic substances.    

  • Must be able to meet specific staff requirements outlined in Minnesota Statutes 245G.11. Reference: Sec. 245G.11 MN Statutes   


Physical Requirements:   


The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.   



  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.   

  • Must be able to lift up to 10 pounds at a time.   


Target Compensation (Negotiable based on Qualifications):  


$19.00-$21.00/hour
