Job Description - Administrative Assistant

Application and Special Instructions

As part of the application process, all applicants are required to submit a resume and cover letter at the time of the application. Applications that do not include a resume and cover letter by the recruitment closing date will be considered incomplete and will not receive further consideration.

Posting will open on February 2, 2026 and close on February 13, 2026.

Interviews will take place the 1st and 2nd week of March 2026.

If selected for the position, you will be subject to a background investigation and motor vehicle record check.

Duties and Responsibilities

This classification may include any of the following tasks, knowledge, skills, and other characteristics. • Creates, maintains, and enters information into databases.

• Sets up and maintains paper or electronic filing systems including recording information, updating paperwork, and maintaining documents.

• Schedules and confirms meetings and appointments.

• Orders and distributes supplies.

• Arranges conference, meetings, or travel reservations for staff.

• Prepares and distributes newsletters and communication.

• Performs all other duties and tasks as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education: 6 months post high school
Work Experience: One (1) year of relevant experience
License Requirements: None
