Generations Home Care is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Administrative Assistant to join our team in McKinney, TX. In this role, you will provide essential administrative support to ensure the efficient operation of our office and assist in enhancing our clients' and staff's experience.
Responsibilities
- Manage and schedule caregiver shifts, meetings, and events
- Handle incoming calls, emails, and correspondence promptly and professionally
- Maintain and organize office files, records, and documents
- Assist in preparing reports and other documentation
- Coordinate communication between different departments and external contacts
- Support onboarding processes for new hires and maintain employee records
- Perform general office duties such as ordering supplies, light housekeeping, and maintaining equipment
- Accurate billing and payroll review
- Participate in on-call phone rotation
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional qualification as an Administrative Assistant or Secretary is a plus
- Proven experience in an administrative role preferred
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient with Google Workspace (Gmail, Docs, Drive, Sheets, Calendar, etc.)
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Positive attitude and ability to work independently as well as part of a team
