SUMMARY:
The?Administrative Assistant? will primarily be responsible for answering the phones and greeting participants. This position requires a depth of knowledge of all NEKCA's programs and services and an ability to warmly engage callers/participants to determine services needed and route call/person accordingly. This position will provide information about services available to families and individuals, make referrals to appropriate departments, and assist with emergency and supportive services when available.
This Administrative Assistant position is located at 1197 Main Street, St. Johnsbury and provides administrative support to the Senior Management team.

Employees in this position work primarily in an office environment with moderate noise levels and controlled temperature conditions. The work involves sitting for extended periods of time, using a computer and other office equipment, and may require occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds. Position has occasionally bending, stooping, or reaching for items. Standing or moving around the office area.

Education and Experience:
HS Diploma or equivalent (required)
1-2 years of relevant experience preferred
