The Administrative Assistant supports theWater for Goodteam through general administrativeassistance, office management and reception, and other duties as assigned. The Administrative Assistant should remain flexible in assigned duties, as they may be asked toassistwith tasks in multiple departments.
Responsibilities & Duties Overview:
Administrative Support
Support theWater for Goodteam in tasks related to office management. Duties may include:
Coordinate withWater for Good’s landlord tomaintainthe office, includingmaintainingoffice supplies, furniture, and equipment
Manage mail pickup, organization, and distribution
Coordinatelogistics& hospitality of office meetings and events
Work cross-departmentally to support other teams with administrative tasks
May be asked to support andassistthe Executive Assistant as needed
Support the planning of Board of Director meetings and other leadership meetings, as needed
Provide travel management support, as needed
Other administrative and office duties as assigned
Development Team Support
Support the Development team with clerical accounting tasks, such as:
Revenue reconciliation
Preparing payments
Checkopening anddeposits
Managing the office petty cash
Providing receipts to donors
Other related tasks
Support theDevelopment team with gift entries to Salesforce as needed
Assistsindonor communications through answering emails and phone calls,and preparing and mailing packages to donors
Other duties as assigned.
Work Experience & Qualifications:
Required Qualifications:
Passion for Water for Good’s mission of transforming lives through sustainable access to safe water, and improved sanitation and hygiene in places that need it most.
2-3 years of administrative experience in an office environment or similar experience
Able to learnnew technologyquickly
Ability tomaintainconfidentiality of sensitive information
Highly organized and attentive to detail
Proficient withMicrosoft
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Legally eligible to work in the United States; no sponsorship will be provided
Preferred Qualifications:
1 - 2 years of experience supporting Sr. Management teams or as an Executive Assistant
1 - 2 years of experience working with project management & messaging tools such as Asana &Microsoft Teams
Bachelor’s degree or 3-5 years of equivalent experience
Physical Qualifications:
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
