Administrative Assistant

AWH Logistics is looking for a highly organized, positive, and dependable Administrative Assistant to support our growing transportation company.

This isn't a position where every day looks the same.

Transportation moves quickly. Priorities change. A manager may need help with one project while recruiting needs assistance with another, and something unexpected will inevitably land on your desk in between.

We're looking for someone who enjoys that kind of environment.

Someone who communicates well, stays organized, follows through, and can move between multiple priorities without losing track of the details.

What You'll Do:

You'll provide administrative support across multiple areas of AWH Logistics and help keep our people, information, and processes organized.

Your responsibilities may include:

• Provide day-to-day administrative support to company leadership and departments


• Manage emails, phone calls, documents, spreadsheets, files, and other correspondence


• Assist with recruiting, including applicant communication, interview scheduling, follow-up, and onboarding


• Maintain and update information within BambooHR and other company systems


• Prepare reports, spreadsheets, documents, and internal communications


• Help maintain accurate employee, driver, vendor, and company records


• Assist with scheduling meetings and coordinating calendars


• Follow up on open tasks and help ensure deadlines aren't missed


• Communicate professionally with drivers, managers, applicants, vendors, and customers


• Assist with basic accounting or QuickBooks-related administrative tasks as needed


• Support special projects and changing business needs


• Jump in where needed to help the team succeed


• Assist with company social media by creating and publishing recruiting, employee recognition, company culture, and other business-related posts as needed

Experience That Will Make You Stand Out:

These aren't all required, but they're definitely a plus:

• BambooHR or other Applicant Tracking System (ATS) experience


• Recruiting or hiring experience


• QuickBooks experience


• Business social media experience, including creating, scheduling, and publishing company posts


• Experience with Facebook, LinkedIn, or other business social media platforms


• Transportation, trucking, logistics, or operations experience


• Previous administrative or office-support experience


• Microsoft Outlook and Excel experience

Compensation:

$47,000–$53,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.
