The program is responsible for designing, building, integrating and testing the payload, while working collaboratively across the country with our other NG sites. We are seeking an Administrative Assistant to support the Program Office located on-site in Linthicum, MD. \n\nThis position may be filled as either a level 3 or level 4.\n\nRole and Responsibilities: \n\n * Proactively manage calendars for assigned staff. Prioritize and schedule meetings, handle quick turn requests, monitor and act upon upcoming needs, and resolve frequent schedule conflicts\n\n * Coordinate meetings across multiple NG and customer sites\n\n * Make domestic business travel arrangements, process documentation as required and process expense reports in a timely manner for assigned staff\n\n * Develop, format and distribute communications from leadership with support from a subject matter expert \n\n * Operate independently to meet requirements of leadership team \n\n * Proactively support in executing day-to-day pop-up related items that facilitate the ability to meet business requirements\n\n * Attend staff meetings and publish agendas. Collect, compile, prepare notes and action items from meetings and follow up on action items to help timely submissions by staff \n\n * Arrange and execute support for a variety of internal and external on-site meetings and events, including conference room reservations, set up, and catering. Collect, compile receipts and complete expense reports in a timely manner for assigned staff\n\n * Respond to a wide variety of employee requests, provide direct support and/or resource referrals as appropriate\n\n * Support restocking and organization of kitchens \n\n * Support staff seating and facility upgrades, as needed \n\n * Provide onsite escorting support, as needed \n\n * Support special projects, assigned\n\n * Provide back-up support for other administrative staff, as needed \n\n\n\n\nBasic Qualifications for a level 3:\n\n * Associate\u0027s degree and 2 years of relevant experience in the administrative professional field; OR Bachelor\u0027s degree and relevant experience in the administrative professional field, an additional four years\u2019 experience may be considered in lieu of a degree\n\n * Strong interpersonal, communication and organizational skills. \n\n\n\n * Proactive, with the ability to anticipate needs of your assigned clients and the business \n\n * Highly motivated and adaptable, with excellent organizational skills including the ability to juggle multiple tasks, changing needs, and competing priorities \n\n * Strong ability to multi-task with competing priorities in a positive manner \n\n * High proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint) \n\n * Attention to detail with experience proofreading and correcting documents for grammatical and spelling errors. \n\n * Demonstrated ability to manage multiple administrative projects and initiatives. \n\n * Ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret clearance with SCI access, including completing a CI polygraph examination in accordance with applicable laws and regulations\n\n * US Citizenship required \n\n\n\n\nBasic Qualifications for a level 4:\n\n * Associate\u0027s degree and 4 years of relevant experience in the administrative professional field; OR Bachelor\u0027s degree and 2 years of relevant experience in the administrative professional field, an additional four years\u2019 experience may be considered in lieu of a degree\n\n * Excellent interpersonal communication and organizational skills. \n\n\n\n * Proactive, with the ability to anticipate needs of your assigned clients and the business \n\n * Highly motivated and adaptable, with excellent organizational skills including the ability to juggle multiple tasks, changing needs, and competing priorities \n\n * Superior ability to multi-task with competing priorities in a positive manner \n\n * Advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint) \n\n * Attention to detail with experience proofreading and correcting documents for grammatical and spelling errors\n\n * Demonstrated ability to manage multiple administrative projects and initiatives \n\n * Ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret clearance with SCI access, including completing a CI polygraph examination in accordance with applicable laws and regulations\n\n * US Citizenship required \n\n\n\n\nPreferred qualifications\n\n * Active Top Secret clearance/SCI access\n\n * Familiarity with Northrop Grumman (NG) policies and procedures \n\n * Familiarity with NG systems (Concur, SharePoint, NG File Transfer Tool and other NG tools) \n\n * Advanced proficiency in business and travel expense system (Concur or similar) with complex, frequently changing travel \n\n * Demonstrated strong document preparation skills \n\n\n\n\nPrimary Level Salary Range: $53,500.00 - $89,100.00\n\nSecondary Level Salary Range: $63,500.00 - $105,900.00\n\nThe above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate\u0027s experience, education, skills and current market conditions.\n\nDepending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
