Annual Salary $38,563.39 + Full State Employee Benefits

Travel for this position is occasional.

Must possess a valid driver's license and must maintain required car insurance.

Job Responsibilities:

Basic Purpose:
Assigned responsibilities for providing administrative support for program areas and support functions, or serve as an assistant to, or provide administrative support to an administrator or an official.

Typical Functions:
• Manage daily workload as assigned.
• Develops and maintains confidential or complex files.
• Initiates and maintains correspondence requiring knowledge of agency or program procedures and policies.
• Enters and retrieves information using data processing equipment.
• Receives and reviews coded and uncoded source documents; reviews data and makes routine corrections.
• Interprets and advises internal and external customers on departmental or program rules, regulations, and laws.
• May supervise subordinate staff. This includes supervising an administrative, clerical or technical clerical unit or staff responsible for performing a variety of duties.
• May establish and coordinate educational and/or training programs.
• Utilizes available technology to manage the assigned workload using electronic communications and software programs designed to assist with tracking.
• Conducts monthly on-site EBT (Electronic Benefits Transfer) audits of assigned retail offices.
• Completes EBT (Electronic Benefits Transfer) card printing remotely.
• May complete other office duties as assigned.
• Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities required at this level include knowledge of spelling, punctuation, and business English; of business mathematics; of modern office methods and procedures.
•Work effectively with individuals from diverse cultural, ethnic, and socio-economic backgrounds.

Education and Experience:

Requirements at this level consist of five (5) years of technical clerical office work or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
