In this Administrative Assistant role, you will perform various administrative and office support duties. Do your talents include mail merging, pivot tables, and presentation design? Then we have the Administrative Assistant position for you. This Administrative Assistant role is a long-term contract / temporary opportunity and is located in the Santa Cruz, California area.

Your responsibilities

- Support diverse projects for other employees

- Navigate through word processing, filing, and faxing

- Field telephone calls

- Receive and direct visitors- Competent computer skills including word processing, spreadsheets and presentation software, as well as databases and customer database systems

- At least 1 year of Administrative Assistant experience preferred

- Microsoft Excel experience

- Practical knowledge of Vendors

- Expertise in Agenda Items

- Good understanding of Clinical Trial Operations

- Onboarding experience highly preferred

- Background working with Calendar Management

- Adeptness in Planning Processes

- Special Event experience desired

- Proficiency in Power BI

- Prior experience with Onsite

- Comprehension of Placement

- General familiarity with Hiring Processes

- Earlier work involving travel

- Experience with payroll

- Event planning experience highly valued

- Project Coordination experience highly desired

- Previous experience working with suppliers

- Coordination experience preferred

- Answering Inbound Calls experience

- Hands-on experience with R Code

- Documentation experience preferred

- Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Word

- Foundational knowledge in Screen Calls

- Customer service experience

- Experience with travel arrangements

- Internet research skills

- Strong communication skills and able to receive criticism well
