Due to our continued growth and success, we are currently seeking a Purchasing Assistant to join our team.
Position Overview:
The Purchasing Assistant is responsible for ensuring that Century has the supplies and inventory it needs to function according to schedule. Duties include communicating with suppliers about the status of supplies, problem-solving to reduce the impact of late shipments and submitting modified purchase orders to vendors. This position is also responsible for order fulfillment demands by either rescheduling in or rescheduling out delivery dates on purchase orders. Communicate any discrepancies or shortage/overage to the supervisor/lead.
