The Impact You'll Have:

Alliant Engineering, Inc., has an exceptional opportunity available for an Administrative Assistant to support our growing Jacksonville, Florida office. You will be working directly with the office manager and will play a key role in the office. The ideal candidate must be upbeat, energetic and be able to handle a wide range of administrative and executive support-related tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Provide office and administrative support to the Office Manager and staff


• Work independently with minimal supervision and guidance


• Compose internal and external correspondence as needed


• Serve as a welcoming point of contact at the front desk providing routine information and direction to callers and visitors


• Coordinate and prepare materials needed for conferences, correspondence, appointments, meetings and telephone calls


• Assist with general administrative tasks including filing, copying, scanning, producing and monitoring reports, and maintaining office records


• Support office operations through supply ordering, office maintenance coordination, errands, and general office organization

Required Qualifications:

• 2+ years of professional Administrative Assistant experience, preferably within the AEC industry


• High school diploma or equivalent required


• Proficient with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook


• Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks


• Ability to show initiative and exercise good judgment in a growing environment


• Professional communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with employees, clients, visitors, and vendors
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• Demonstrates personal ability to exercise analytic and problem-solving skills


• Ability to work calmly under pressure, while remaining proactive, resourceful and efficient
