Position Summary
The Administrative Assistant to the Director of the Social Services Ministry enhances the effectiveness of our social services department by coordinating and providing professional administrative support. You will be the connective force ensuring the team runs smoothly, clients receive compassionate care, and our ministry’s impact continues to grow.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide general administrative and clerical support to the Director and social services team.
  • Keep the Director and appropriate personnel informed of developments and      emerging situations.
  • Enter and manage client data in the HMIS (Homeless Management Information      System) system and maintain accurate local records.
  • Uphold the highest standards of client confidentiality at all times.
  • Prepare timely and insightful reports by gathering and analyzing information and      data.
  • Maintain and nurture personal and professional contacts in the community.
  • Organize special events, outreach activities, and fundraising efforts.
  • Attend departmental, parish, and community meetings as required.
  • Communicate effectively and work collaboratively in a diverse environment.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support the mission of the Social Services      Ministry.

Requirements

Essential Qualifications & Skills

  • Proven  experience in administrative support, ideally within a non-profit, faith-based, or social services setting.
  • Proficiency with data entry systems (experience with HMIS is a plus).
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and handle sensitive information with      discretion.
  • Comfortable working in and contributing to a culturally and socioeconomically diverse      community.
  • A servant’s heart, demonstrating empathy, compassion, and a willingness to go above and beyond for others.
