Job Description - Administrative Assistant/Customer Service Rep - Accounting Department

Description

We are seeking a customer-focused and detail-oriented individual to join our accounting team as an Administrative Assistant/Customer Service Representative. This role plays a critical part in gathering and producing reports for our accounting team, as well as assisting with customer service items.

The ideal candidate will be a quick learner with a high attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively. This role provides a great opportunity to become an integral part of our accounting department, supporting the entire team in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring smooth financial operations. Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and maintain various reports within Excel
  • Accounts receivable
  • Research, prepare, and send out invoices
  • Interact with customers to resolve outstanding issues
  • Respond to customer service-related items
  • Process necessary adjustments
  • Assist with receptionist duties
  • Other miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned

Requirements

  • 1+ years of accounting or bookkeeping experience preferred
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), including basic knowledge of Excel formulas
  • Ability to learn proprietary software
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to establish priorities and work within deadlines
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
