Job Summary

• Consistently demonstrate leadership and management approach to daily clinical and administrative practice.
• Ensure delivery of safe, quality patient/family centered care are provided timely
• Patient/customer satisfaction issues are resolved timely
• Collaboration with other departments to ensure quality patient care
• Development and implementation of policies and procedures according to evidence-based practice in accordance with regulatory standards and guidelines. 
• Clinical Expertise: Strong knowledge of critical care procedures, patient assessment, and use of complex medical equipment such as ventilators and cardiac monitors.
• Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams, often in high-stress situations.
• Ability to mentor/coach nursing staff on analytical and decision-making skills for rapid assessment and decision-making capabilities to respond to changing patient conditions.
• Responsible for managing the department's budget, tracking expenditures, and reallocating funds as necessary to meet operational needs in collaboration with CDON & SDON.
