We’re seeking an Administrative Manager for our newly transitioned oral surgery practice in San Diego, CA. The ideal match for this role must have a professional, “can-do” attitude, warm personality, and the ability to serve as both a leader and team player in a multi-tasking office environment.

Key Responsibilities:
As the Administrative Manager for a surgical specialty office, you’re responsible for ensuring an outstanding patient
and
referring doctor experience. The ideal candidate will have solid working knowledge of medical and/or dental insurance carriers. Impeccable writing and verbal communication skills are a must.
With the transition, our practice working to expand our team and blend the cultures of two successful practices. That said, we are looking for someone who is willing to roll up their sleeves, help identify and fill gaps in the expanded workflow, while collaborating with our surgeons to develop and implement solutions with the team. Management responsibilities include:
Optimize office services by organizing and supervising staff, office operations, record keeping, billing, vendor contacts and office procedures.
Recruit, onboard, and oversee training of new administrative staff members.
Work with surgeons to coordinate administrative staff services, identify and solve operational problems, and recommend corrective actions.
Monitor, review, and direct financial operations including billing, accounts receivable/payable, payroll, and budget.
Oversee timely collections, patient estimates, and patient billing.
HIPAA compliance oversight.
Maintain professional knowledge by establishing networks and participating in professional societies.
Support practice development opportunities and marketing with referring offices.

Experience and Education Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree (preferred).
3+ years of experience managing a medical or dental office.
Prior dental experience is required, however, oral surgery experience is a plus!
