Administrative Operations Coordinator

About the Role

Reporting to the Business Operations Manager, this key role ensures smooth internal processes and efficient workflows across the organization. You will be the "hub" of daily execution, supporting everything from finance and HR to facility maintenance and IT setup. This is a dynamic, hands-on position ideal for someone who is responsive, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. 

This is a fully on-site position located at Emma Prusch Farm Park in San Jose. 

Who You Are

You are a self-motivated problem-solver who loves bringing order to a busy environment. You have a customer-service orientation and enjoy being the primary contact for staff and external vendors. You are comfortable handling sensitive information with strict confidentiality and can pivot between different tasks—like processing an invoice one hour and setting up electronics the next—with ease.

What You’ll Bring

• Experience: 1 to 3 years of administrative, operations, or office support experience.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace. Familiarity with tools like Asana, Gusto, or Bill.com is a plus.
• Operational Knowledge: Basic experience in bookkeeping or finance support is preferred.
• Mission Alignment: A deep commitment to racial, economic, and social justice.
• Linguistic Skill: Professional fluency (verbal and written) in both Spanish and English.

Compensation & Benefits

• Hourly Rate: $31 per hour. (Non-negotiable to ensure pay equity)
• Work Commitment: 30 hours per week, with the potential to expand to 40 hours.
