Position Summary
The Operations Specialist II position provides overall support to the operations staff, encompassing a wide variety of responsibilities. This position requires the flexibility and willingness to assist where necessary; at times taking on new and evolving responsibilities.
Responsibilities
· Provide support to operations/midstream management and staff
· Assist with oil and gas month-end close
· Accounts payable duties as needed
· Regulatory reporting
· Create daily/monthly reports from various sources
· Attend monthly accrual meetings
· Some administrative assistant duties, such as assisting field personnel with office paperwork
· Perform all other duties required for which the employee is qualified and trained
· Process Invoices
· Order supplies
· Greet and escort guests to offices for meetings
· Answer and direct phone calls
Requirements
Qualifications
· 3-5 years of experience as an administrative assistant or Operations Specialist within the oil and gas industry preferred
· Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word and Spotfire
· Strong working knowledge of other database applications such as WellEZ and Citrix
· Familiarity with work order input and tracking systems
· Strong written and verbal communications skills a must
· Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
· Knowledge of Open Invoice/Open Ticket preferred
